It is dedicated to ensure: # to be a management tool for CIC objectives # to be an entry point for all Egee actors for their operational needs # to manage the available informations about Egee's VO # to monitor and ensure grid day-to-day operations on grid resources and services Each actor of Egee will then be able to enter or have access to informations from an operational point of view according to its role into Egee - what we define as an actor's view: # VO views : actions depending upon VO Managers and VO administrator # VO mb views : actions depending upon VO members responsabilities # RC views : actions depending upon RC responsabilities # and so on with CIC, ROC and OAG Home section of this web site is public. Other sections are secured using certificates and SSL authentication. ################################### New features - main changes from v-3.1 ################################### Note that this release is a minor release. For an overview of recent changes, please view release note for version 3.0: http://cic.in2p3.fr/include/txt/CICWebSite_release_note_V-3.0.txt CIC section - Operations metrics -------------------------------- 2 sections "Operations metrics" and "CIC/ROC metrics" have been merged to "Operations Metrics". This section presents metrics extracted from the ROC weekly Reports and GGUS. Weekly metrics on tickets are available and completed. They now contain per Region the average response time for the tickets of the week. These metrics also appear in the CIC-on-duty dashboard ROC staff section - Resources for PPS sites ------------------------------------------- A high level view of resources available for PPS has been set up, on the model of what is done for each region. It gives information on: - List of CEs with corresponding queues, nb of CPUs and supported VOs and softwares - List of SEs with available/used space - Resource Brokers - RLS This high level view is built using Lavoisier, and the same datasources as the ones used for the VO dashboard. RC staff section - contact function using data from the Registrar ----------------------------------------------------------------- A new function has been set up to allow site managers to contact a user when knowing only his certificate DN. This function uses the registrar to extract user's mail, without presenting it at any stage. Sites are then able to contact any user without knowing his mail. Other changes ------------- - link to the VOMS certificate file has been added in the VO Id cards - ROC country managers are able to edit their part of the ROC weekly report. All functionalities existing before 3.2 are of course still available.
