It is dedicated to ensure: # to be a management tool for CIC objectives # to be an entry point for all Egee actors for their operational needs # to manage the available informations about Egee's VO # to monitor and ensure grid day-to-day operations on grid resources and services Each actor of Egee will then be able to enter or have access to informations from an operational point of view according to its role into Egee - what we define as an actor's view: # VO views : actions depending upon VO Managers and VO administrator # VO mb views : actions depending upon VO members responsabilities # RC views : actions depending upon RC responsabilities # and so on with CIC and ROC. Home section of this web site is public. Other sections are secured using certificates and SSL authentication. view the securisation part of this document for more details. ################################### New features - Main Changes ################################### Sections/views -------------- - Main change in this version is the creation of a new section dedicated to OAG activities - Additionnaly, the "Views" have been renamed - We have now 7 sections : ° HOME ° VO Users (formerly VO MB VIEWS) ° VO Management (formerly VO VIEWS) ° RC staff (formerly RC VIEWS) ° ROC staff (formerly ROC VIEWS) ° CIC staff (formerly CIC VIEWS) ° OAG staff Features of the OAG section --------------------------- - Declare a new VO - View and manage Resources offered by sites to the EGEE VOs - Use EGEE BROADCAST to publish info New features of the VO management section ----------------------------------------- - Resources for a given VO are sorted as following : ° Readily available resources (resources available on the grid, published through the information system ° Potentialy offered resources (resources promised by sites to a given VO) - VO Managers ara allowed to add some information about their VO (contacts, mailing lists,...) New features of the RC staff section ------------------------------------ - RC managers can specify resources they want to offer to a given VO. Request is sent to the corresponding ROC for validation New features of the ROC staff section ------------------------------------- - ROC managers are able to validate requests sent by their sites, offering resources to a given VO.
